Carriers with $1 million liability, $100,000 cargo and no Conditional or Unsatisfactory rating

Our take

Circle's 2018 packet lists a wide mix of equipment, from cargo vans and hotshots up to RGN/DD. Its safety rule leaves room for a carrier that hasn't been rated. Most of what you need to watch is paperwork.

Get the POD in within 72 hours, because a late one means deductions. Your invoice also needs the signed BOL with arrival and pick-up times, the signed rate confirmation, a clear delivery receipt and any receipts the customer requires.

Its quick pay rates come from a 2018 packet. Confirm them, and the payment method, before you count on quick pay.

Pros

  • Cargo vans, sprinter vans, straight trucks and hotshots are on the equipment list
  • Two quick pay speeds, 48 hours at 5% or seven days at 2%
  • The safety rule only rules out Conditional and Unsatisfactory ratings

Cons

  • Quick pay comes as a paper check unless accounting arranges otherwise
  • Circle has to be a named insured on your cargo policy
  • Deductions apply if the POD comes in after 72 hours

What insurance does Circle Logistics require?

How fast does Circle Logistics pay?

Circle pays 30 days after it receives your invoice and required documents. Send the POD within 72 hours to avoid deductions and the invoice within 180 days.

Does Circle Logistics offer quick pay?

Its 2018 packet lists quick pay at 48 hours for 5% or seven days for 2%, counted from receipt of the invoice and POD once the required paperwork is processed. Payment is a paper check by regular mail unless accounting arranges otherwise.

How do I set up with Circle Logistics?

Download its forms and send them by email or fax. You need the carrier information, agreement, COI, ACH form and a voided check, plus your equipment and lane details.
